Open AppJuice from another device
Open Settings → Remote Access on the host. Use the offered local-network address from another device on the same network, or a configured Tailscale connection when away.
The apps continue to run on the host. Keep that computer or server running and reachable. AppJuice does not relay the app through an AppJuice cloud service.
Select apps and approve the browser
- Select the apps that should be available remotely.
- Open the offered address on the other device.
- Review and approve the browser request on the host.
- Choose the intended access level.
Approval belongs to the browser connection. A different browser or address can need its own approval.

- The approved browser can also access the editing workflow for the selected apps.
Remote Access is for approved browsers. To distribute an app for another person to install independently, use Juicery or an app package. Public website hosting is a separate publishing workflow.
Add an app to your device
Where supported, use the browser's installation or Add to Home Screen action for the portal or an individual app. AppJuice's installation guidance adapts to the device and browser.
On iPhone or iPad, follow the Safari instructions shown by the guide. Installing a shortcut or web app does not copy the host runtime onto the phone; it still needs a connection to the host.
Use files and previews remotely
Upload a file to send it from the client device to the host. A host file picker instead selects files already on the AppJuice computer or server.
Supported previews work in the browser. Save and share controls depend on the file and browser capabilities. On supported mobile browsers, image artifacts can use the system share sheet; desktop file clipboard actions may be unavailable.
Revoke access or fix a connection
Use Remote Access settings to inspect approved browsers and remove access you no longer need. Check the selected apps, host runtime, network address, and Tailscale connection when an app cannot be reached.
If a browser reconnects after a break, check the existing session before starting the same task again.
