AI and local access
Steve uses the AI providers and keys you configure in AppJuice. When allowed, it can search the web for current openings, read text from images or PDFs, create images, turn speech into text, and read replies aloud.
Your profile, resumes, saved jobs, and applications are stored locally. AppJuice will ask before Steve accesses sensitive local files or runs local tasks.
Safety and privacy
- No sign-in to job sites; Steve cannot apply or act on your behalf
- Only uses your real experience and confirms details before saving
- You can clear saved memory at any time
- Optional LinkedIn/Indeed collection downloads a third-party job-search tool from a pinned source; it runs only when you use that feature
- Bulk AI evaluations may cost money and require your confirmation first
