What you can do

- Read books with a clean, distraction-free layout

AI and local access
- The AI assistant only knows what's in the currently selected book
- It can read relevant chapters, search the web for current information, and generate spoken audio
- All book files remain on your device; you choose which ones to import
- AI processing uses the providers and API keys you have already set up in AppJuice
Safety and privacy
- No account required; everything runs locally
- The app only accesses files you explicitly open
- Web search is used only when you ask for current or outside information
- Cloud publishing requires you to enter your own storage credentials, which are stored securely in your local AppJuice runtime settings
- No data is collected or sent to the developer
Good to know
- The app works best with EPUB files; PDFs can be read with a built-in viewer
- Text-to-speech quality depends on the provider you choose; Edge TTS is built-in and works without extra setup
- The podcast and cloud publishing features are optional and require configuration
