What you can do
- Pick one or many files from your computer
- Choose a folder
- Pick a mix of files and folders at once
- Save a test text file to any location you choose
- Send a desktop notification
- Preview a selected file without opening an editor
- Open a file or folder in its default app
- Reveal a file or folder in Finder or File Explorer
- Open the appjuice.app website outside this app
Safety and privacy
- Only files and folders you explicitly pick are available to the app
- Nothing is ever sent off your device; all tests stay local
- There are no hidden processes or background tasks
- The optional AI agent is turned off by default and requires your configuration to activate
Good to know
- These tests require the AppJuice desktop app — they won’t work in a regular web browser
- Buttons are grayed out if a feature isn’t supported by your environment, with a note explaining why
- Some tests (like opening a file) need you to pick something first; hints on the card will guide you
